The SPFU team met with the management of the Korean company SsangYong to demonstrate investment opportunities and new areas of work of the agency

The Chairman of the SPFU and his deputies held a working meeting with Hwi Paek, Director of International Business at SsangYong, Kim Yo Jin, Deputy CEO, Jang Hyeon, International Business Manager, and Liana Khorovytska, Executive Director of CORE Ukraine.

Vitaliy Koval told the foreign partners about the opportunities offered by the SPFU in the areas of privatization and lease of state property. The participants discussed large-scale privatization objects, such as: Odesa Port Plant, Hotel «Ukraina»,, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Commercial Sea Port and the United Mining and Chemical Company.

"Today, the SPFU owns a variety of objects, in total they are engaged in 618 types of activities. Therefore, the SPFU Team has a lot to offer to private investors. Among the objects are ready-made sites that are suitable for conducting business already. It is important for us to attract private investment, as 1 hryvnia of investment brings 4 hryvnias of direct investment," the leader of the agency emphasized.

Vitaliy Koval and Igor Tymoshenko spoke in detail about the mechanisms of privatization and lease of real estate, explained the legal restrictions on the use of objects, and the timeframe for completing the necessary procedures. They also emphasized the step-by-step, simplicity and transparency of online bidding.

Representatives of the SPFU also shared new projects - Land Bank and work with sanctioned property. In particular, 691 assets have been transferred to the SPFU's management, including many ready-made facilities, including Aerok LLC and Ocean Plaza shopping center.

"The proceeds from the sale of sanctioned assets are directed to the recovery fund, which will be used to cover the priority needs for the restoration of destroyed or damaged social infrastructure. That is why it is important for us to demonstrate to the world that the assets of Russians are working for the Ukrainian economy," the leader of the agency emphasized.

Representatives of the Korean company SsangYong expressed interest in further cooperation. Foreign partners expressed interest in privatizing real estate, warehouses and land leases. The parties agreed to hold further meetings and develop specific terms of reference, according to which the SPFU Team will be able to select the most suitable objects for the projects.

In his turn, the Chairman of the SPFU emphasized that the process of transformation of the agency in accordance with modern business requirements is underway. It is important for entrepreneurs to receive information quickly, without complicating bureaucratic procedures.
