Vitaliy Koval: The SPFU initiates privatization of the Property complex of SOE "Zlatodar" in Cherkasy region

Vitaliy Koval, Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, visited the Property complex of SOE"Zlatodar" during his working visit to Cherkasy region. The Property complex of SOE"Zlatodar"  used to be one of the largest grain receiving enterprises in the region but unprofitable and has debt obligations of over UAH 600 million.

The company has recently been transferred to the SPFU's management, and the SPFU's team is now initiating its inclusion in the list of privatization targets. "Today, every unprofitable object should be put up for online bidding as soon as possible. These are the country's internal reserves, the funds from which will be used to support the Defense Forces," Vitaliy Koval emphasized.

The Property complex of SOE"Zlatodar" has significant investment potential for business. Its facilities allow it to perform a full range of grain operations. The Property complex of the SOEincludes a grain receiving facility and a feed mill that can store one hundred thousand tons of grain at a time.

The company also has a high-capacity railway infrastructure that allows it to form route trains of 50-60 cars. This optimizes operations and reduces the time required to ship grain.

"It is important that in the heart of Ukraine, in the agricultural region, the new investor will be able to implement a wide range of agricultural processing projects," said Vitaliy Koval, "The company has retained a team of 70 qualified specialists who are ready to work with the new owner."

For reference. The Property complex of SOE"Zlatodar" includes 150 non-residential buildings and structures with a total area of 57.8 thousand square meters. The total grain capacity of the production facilities in Zolotonosha is 97.4 thousand tons (33.1 thousand tons of which are elevators), and the capacity of the Palmyra branch in Voznesensk village is 36.5 thousand tons.
