The 2nd International Corporate Directors Forum will be held on December 5th
Professional Association of Corporate Governance (PAGG) and International Finance Corporation (IFC) will hold on 5 December the II International Forum of Corporate Directors. The Forum will be supported, including the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
Leading experts will meet to exchange experiences, discuss legislative innovations, and consider the best case studies to create and operate an effective Supervisory Board. The role of the Supervisory Boards in building corporate governance models, both public and private, cannot be overestimated. Just, banks, business partners, investors are paying attention on the qualification of Boards and top managers always.
The events of the last two years show that in Ukraine, finally, there have been positive developments in relation to the Supervisory Councils and their members - corporate directors.
The event program consists of already implemented case studies of Ukrainian companies that have made the first successful steps towards introducing innovations and implementing international practices into their corporate governance system.
Key issues to discuss:
Formation of an effective Supervisory Board, ensuring a balanced team of directors, inclusion to the Council of Independent Directors;
leadership of the Board in developing the corporate strategy of the company;
selection and nominations by the Board of Chief Executive Officer of the company;
assessment of the Council activity.
