Members of the Board of JSC "United Mining and Chemical Company" conducted a meeting with the mayor of Vilnohirsk

Members of the Board of JSC "United Mining and Chemical Company" represented by Arthur Somov, Jurii Solovei and Head of the Trade Union of the Vilnohirsk MMC Fedir Klymenko conducted a meeting with the mayor of Vilnohirsk on June, 2, 2020.

The subjects of the meeting were the problems and prospects of the Vilnohirsk MMC' development, as an integral part of UMCC.

Improving the policy of social protection of employees of Vilnohirsk MMC is the priority task of new management of UMCC, as the largest employer in the region. The budget indicators of Vilnohirsk, as a model town, directly depend on the production and financial indicators of Vilnohirsk MMC. Wage increases at the enterprise will enhance the subsequently budget revenues of Vilnohirsk, which will contribute to the gradual solution of social problems in the region and increase its investment attractiveness.

"We have opportunities to expand social guarantees due to improoving production indicators through technical modernization as well as eliminating corruption schemes of previous management, which have laundered financial resources from enterprises. In cooperation with local authorities, we will address the most pressing issues related to social protection of employees of Vilnohirsk MMC, which, unfortunately, were on the periphery of the previous leadership of the UMCC, "said Arthur Somov, Acting Deputy Chairman of the UMCC Board.

UMCC board members noted that the implementation of the program to improve the environmental situation related to the functioning of the Vilnohirsk MMC is also a priority. UMCC' and Vilnohirsk MMC' management are developing a set of measures to address the issue of industrial waste disposal and reduction of emissions.

On July 2020, the new management of UMCC plans to report to the employees of Vilnohirsk MMC on the work done and propose new solutions for the company's social policy.
