Artemivske Business Site - the second object of the alcohol industry put up for transparent privatization auction

On September 17, 2020, the State Property Fund of Ukraine announced the privatization auction of the Artemivske Business Site, which is the object of SE “Ukrspyrt”.

The auction for the privatization of this asset will take place on October 20, 2020.

The winner of the auction, according to the current legislation, after obtaining the ownership of this object, will be able to become a participant in the open market of alcohol production.

Privatization auctions will take place at all objects of SE “Ukrspyrt” and Concern “Ukrspyrt” as part of the demonopolization of the alcohol production market.

This became possible in December 2019 after the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted and the President of Ukraine signed the Law “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On State Regulation of Production and Circulation of Ethyl Alcohol, Cognac and Fruit, Alcoholic Beverages, Tobacco Products and Fuel” on Liberalization of Activities in the Field Production and Circulation of Ethyl Alcohol” No. 318-IX.
