Auction for the lease of part of the premises at the Boryspil airport: the price has increased more than 15 times

On December 14, 2020, an auction was held to leasea part of the premises with an area of 2 sq. m.on the 2nd floor of the passenger terminal D of the Boryspil International Airport.

Despite the fact that only one application was submitted to participate in the auction, the leasing price increased 15.8 times - from the starting UAH 1,023 to UAH 16,158.

It should be noted that this price increase is due to the action of online auction algorithms, which motivate participants to make high initial price bids, on which further competitive advantage depends during the auction.

Winner of auction has got 3 working days for execution of protocol and 20 working days for conclusion of lease agreement from day following day of formation of the protocol on the results of auction according to Procedure for Leasing State and of Municipal Property.

Lease agreement with the winner of auction will be concluded in case he pays following payments within the specified period:

·        advance payment of rent for 2 months (including VAT);

·        security deposit in amount of rent for 2 months (without VAT).
