The Profile Committee of the Verkhovna Rada supported the bill on unblocking large-scale privatization

The Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development recommended the Verkhovna Rada to adopt the bill No. 4543 on unblocking large-scale privatization in second reading and as a whole.

The meeting of the Committee was participated by the Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Dmytro Sennychenko.

According to him, this year, for the first time since the sale of “Kryvorizhstal” in 2005, large-scale privatization may start in Ukraine.

“With the joint efforts of all branches of government, representatives of NGOs and the team of the State Property Fund, we are confidently moving towards the goal - in June this year, the first large-scale privatization may auction if it is unblocked by the Verkhovna Rada. I am sincerely grateful to the members of the Parliamentary Committee for supporting the bill No. 4543,” said Dmytro Sennychenko during the meeting.

He also noted that the Committee's support for the bill on unblocking large-scale privatization is an important step for its approval by the Verkhovna Rada.

Consideration of the bill by the Verkhovna Rada is scheduled for next week.

On February 4, MPs supported the bill No. 4543 in first reading by 284 votes. The State Property Fund calls on the people's deputies to bring the case to a logical conclusion - to adopt the bill in the second reading and as a whole.
