Chernihiv: the price of JSC "Khimtekstylmash" increased 17 times at a transparent auction

On March 31, an e-auction for the privatization of the state’s block of stock (100%) of JSC "Khimtekstilmash" was held. As a result, the state budget should receive UAH 17 million.

Three participants competed for the ownership of the asset at the open bidding, which increased the price 17 times - from the starting UAH 994,819 to UAH 17,000,000.

At the same time, in recent years, the company received the lion's share of profits from the lease of a third part of the premises for offices, warehouses, garages and more.

One of the main goals of the State Property Fund during the privatization of such objects is to transform unproductive assets into productive ones by attracting a competent investor at a transparent auction.

According to the privatization conditions, the new owner is obliged to repay the debt incurred by JSC "Khimtekstylmash" and provide social guarantees to employees.
