The SPFU’s enterprises transferred a part of their net profit for 2022 to the state budget – over 116 million UAH

As of July 1, 2023, joint-stock companies under the management of the SPFU transferred 116.5 million UAH from the net profit obtained from their activities in 2022 to the state budget. Out of these, 92.2 million UAH were transferred in the form of dividends.

Compared to last year's figures, this number has decreased by almost three times. Such a decline is explained by the fact that during 2022 Ukraine's economy suffered the largest losses, damages, and destruction in the entire history of independence due to russian military aggression. According to the Ministry of Economy's estimates, the decline in industrial production at the end of 2022 amounted to 36.9%.

"Despite the colossal losses caused to our enterprises due to the war, enterprises have persevered and adapted to working in new conditions. All enterprises that ended the year 2022 with a profit have already made transfers to the state budget according to the established norms. Such high financial discipline demonstrates an understanding of the responsibility for supporting the country's economic front," said Oleksandr Fedoryshyn, Deputy Chairman of the SPFU.

Among the leaders in dividend payouts to the state as of July 1, 2023, were:

• In the energy sector – PrJSC "Kharkivenergozbut" (paid 64.2 million UAH);

• In the mining sector – JSC "United Mining and Chemical Company" (paid 10.7 million UAH);

• In the engineering sector – PJSC "Electronprylad" (paid 3.6 million UAH).

Another enterprise that paid dividends in significant amounts is the state energy trading company JSC “Energy Company of Ukraine” (JSC “ECU”), which was created during the war. In just five months of work in 2022, the company transferred nearly 17 million UAH in dividends to the state budget.
