Another record of privatization and 92 million hryvnias of investments - the SPFU`s August results

In August, winning bids at privatization auctions for SPFU's assets totaled 92.1 million hryvnias. The assets' final value exceeded 2.5 times the starting price after selling a total of 36 state-owned assets.

The largest assets privatized in August at the SPFU auctions in the electronic system Prozorro.Sale were:

Poltava Bakery Plant's winning bid increased by 1.2 times to UAH 31 million as proposed by one bidder;

Chervonoslobidska distillery's bid also increased by three times to UAH 30 million as proposed by one bidder;

Heating plant in Lviv region, for which 11 bidders competed, increasing the value of the asset by 14 times to UAH 5 million.

A total of 229 entrepreneurs participated in 36 auctions, averaging 6 bidders per auction. The highest number of bidders attended auctions for privatizing a seed inspection building in the Lviv region (24 bidders) and an administrative building in the Zhytomyr region (23 bidders).

Here are the top 3 regional SPFU offices for attracting investments in August: Regional Office in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, and Ternopil regions generated UAH 34.8 million, the Regional Office in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions generated UAH 31 million, and the Regional Office in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions generated UAH 13.2 million.

Budget revenues from privatization over the past 8 months totaled UAH 2.56 billion, which is a record amount within the past 10 years. On average, UAH 575 million was generated from privatization in previous years, making this year's numbers 5 times higher.

The privatization auctions conducted by the State Property Fund move us closer to Victory and bolster the economic front of Ukraine, as all funds raised by the SPFU are directed towards supporting the Defense Forces.
