The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed Vitaliy Koval as the Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine

On November 21, at the proposal of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed Vitaliy Koval as the Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.

“Today, it is crucial to effectively cooperate with potential investors and enhance the involvement of regional authorities in organizing competitive auctions to maximize sales value.

Each inactive state asset needs a new owner to restart operations, create added value, generate new jobs, and set the economic wheel in motion. This principle applies equally to the privatization of russian assets. Every hryvnia earned from such sales must bring us closer to our Victory,” said Vitaliy Koval, the Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.

Vitaliy Koval was born on July 28, 1981. From 2019 to 2023, he headed the Rivne Regional State Administration, managed enterprises in the agricultural, transportation, and construction sectors from 2006 to 2019, and worked in the banking sector from 2004 to 2006.

In 2003, he graduated from the Ternopil Academy of National Economy with a degree in banking (awarded the qualification of Master of Banking). In 2017, he earned an MBA degree from the Lviv Business School of the Ukrainian Catholic University. In 2021, he studied at the Aspen Institute Kyiv.

Vitaliy Koval is a member of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, the First Vice President of the Ukrainian Greco-Roman Wrestling Federation, and the Vice President of the Ukrainian Wrestling Association.

He is married and has two children.
