The State Property Fund announces first privatization auctions in October
In October, the State Property Fund put up 41 objects for privatization, with a total starting value of nearly UAH 290 million, of which 6 assets are property complexes.
Number of planned auctions by region:
- Lviv – 7 objects;
- Dnipropetrovsk – 6 objects;
- Zhytomyr – 5 objects;
- Kyiv – 4 objects;
- Chernihiv, Volyn, Rivne – 3 objects each;
- Odesa – 2 objects;
- Ternopil, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Sumy, Khmelnytskyi and Kyiv city – 1 object each.
Top 5 most interesting auctions in October:
"Volyntorf"- an active enterprise primarily involved in peat extraction. The enterprise produces nearly 200 tons of peat briquettes daily. Despite the full-scale war, the state enterprise continues to operate. "Volytorf" includes the separated unit "Manevytsky peat plant". The total area of the premises is 16,016.2 m², and the land area is 192.3794 hectares. The starting price – UAH 190 million, the auction date – October 6.

Property complex of SOE “State Institute for Design of Mining Enterprises “Kryvbasproekt”– an active enterprise, as of August 1, 2023, there are 206 employees working. The asset includes production facilities, administrative building, garages, warehouses, recreational houses, a sports field, a volleyball court, etc. The enterprise is involved in the field of engineering, geology, and geodesy, providing technical consulting services in these areas. The total area of the enterprise is 14,967.72 m² located on 2 land plots covering 2.7589 hectares. The starting price – UAH 28,9 million, the auction date – October 12.

"Niginsky quarry"– an enterprise located in Khmelnytskyi region, primarily engaged in the extraction of construction and ornamental stone, limestone, gypsum, chalk and slate. The asset includes 38 real estate objects with a total area of 15,491 m² and 34 units of vehicles and special equipment. The enterprise is located on 3 land plots with a total area of 79.6 hectares. As of the end of the third quarter of 2023, there are 71 employees working. The starting price – UAH 26 million, the auction date – October 5.

Property complex of SOE “Ukrainian House of Porcelain and Earthenware Industry”, located in the Kyiv region, has not been active since 2011. The property complex includes an administrative building with a total area of over 6,053.4 m² and land plots covering 0.1032 hectares. All necessary utilities are connected to the facility. The starting price – UAH 21 million, the auction date – October 4.

Separate property of Chervona Sloboda operating location and alcohol storage of SOE “UKRSPYRT”.Enterprise founded in 1881 and modernized in 2019, specializes in the production of rectified ethyl alcohol. The facility operates on thermal energy and is equipped with all necessary equipment for full-fledged production. The property is located at three addresses: Kyiv region, Buchansky district, Chervona Sloboda village, Lesi Ukrainky street, 89, and Zavodska street, 3, as well as Kyiv region, Buchansky district, Buian station. The total area of premises is 1,698.7 m², and the land area is 0.1420 hectares. The starting price – UAH 4,9 million, the auction date – October 6.

The majority of assets being put up for privatization by the State Property Fund are suitable for small and medium-sized businesses. In particular, investors may find interesting a group of inventory objects with a total area of almost 1,500 m² in Dnipro, and a seed inspection building with an area of 53 m² in Zakarpattia.
Additionally, there are inventory objects (storage premises) in Volyn region with an area of over 1,200 m² and a warehouse module building in Kyiv with an area of 928 m².
