The Chairman of the SPFU took part in the launch of the national telethon: "Today we have a completely free privatization process, all unnecessary bureaucratic obstacles have been removed"

The Chairman of the State Property Fund became a guest of 1+1 TV channel, where he spoke about state property, sanctioned assets belonging to representatives of the aggressor state and planned revenues to the state budget.

In particular, he shared successful cases of asset value growth - in some cases, starting prices increase by 7, 10 or 12 times. In addition, the buyer pays not only the cost of the asset, but also repays the multimillion-dollar debts of the company.

"All the funds raised from privatization go to the state budget. That is, to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine. And the funds raised from the sale of sanctioned assets go to the recovery fund. Therefore, it is important to fill the budget and look for ways to increase the internal reserve. This is what the team of the State Property Fund is doing," Vitaliy Koval emphasized.

In the studio of the TV channel, the Chairman of the Fundemphasized that the state gives way to private business. "1 hryvnia of privatization proceeds brings 4 hryvnias of private investment. For business, this is an opportunity to expand. He also added that the state retains ownership of only key industries, including the defense industry and strategic industries, while everything else is moving forward.

The Chairman of the Fund also spoke about the planned privatization proceeds of UAH 4 billion. They also discussed the list of assets included in the large-scale privatization. They talked about the new objects included in the list: Ocean Plaza, Demurinsky Mining and Processing Plant, and Hotel Ukraine. Assets that were previously on the list: Centrenergo, Odesa Port Plant, United Mining and Chemical Company.

"A sanctioned enterprise can operate and increase its economic potential, and we, as the State Property Fund, must prepare the enterprise for privatization and put it up for sale so that private business can become the new owner," said the Chairman of the State Property Fund.

At the end of the broadcast, Vitaliy Koval summarized that privatization during martial law is important, as it is one of the mechanisms to attract additional resources to support the Defense Forces and stimulate Ukraine's economic growth.
