International cooperation continues: the Chairman of the State Property Fund met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea

The Chairman of the State Property Fund met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine, Kim Hyung Tae, and the Minister-Counselor of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine, Jo Jaehong. During the meeting, they discussed the directions the Fund is working on: privatization, leasing, the Land Bank, sanctioned assets, evaluation, and corporate governance.

Representatives of the embassy were particularly interested in the new "Land Bank" project. The Fund’s team explained to the embassy representatives the mechanism of leasing agricultural land. They also extensively discussed the topic of military guarantees for investors, including the support of the Korean government in risk insurance.

"Insurance against military risks will allow large global companies to engage in business in Ukraine. Businesses will be able to operate, plan, and grow, feeling protected and having guarantees of stability from governments," emphasized the Chairman of the State Property Fund.

The first meeting between the parties took place. The State Property Fund team is ready to cooperate and strengthen dialogue, seeking common ground and providing all necessary information about the assets that interest Korean businesses.
