Vitaliy Koval met with the Ambassador of the Netherlands

Vitaliy Koval, Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ukraine Johannes de Mol. At the meeting, the Chairman of the SPFU presented the possibilities of joint projects, including new initiatives of the Fund, such as Sanctioned property and Land Bank.

"I am confident that deepening cooperation with the Netherlands will have a significant positive impact on the development of the Ukrainian economy. We are ready for active cooperation in many areas," Vitaliy Koval said during the meeting.

Particular emphasis was placed on the agricultural sector, as the Netherlands is an example of successful implementation of agricultural projects and the creation of high added value. This opens up new opportunities for investment in the Ukrainian economy and exchange of experience with Dutch partners.

In particular, the parties discussed the opening of the land lease market for land plots managed by the Fund. Starting from the end of July 2024, Ukrainian and foreign investors will be able to access these land resources through online auctions.

Such investments require export risk insurance. For this purpose, the Netherlands has a €60 million credit line. This enables Dutch businesses to participate in auctions and take out insurance for their projects to avoid war-related risks.

It is important that Ukrainian companies that cooperate with partners from the Netherlands can also use this insurance program.
