Taras Yeleyko participated in an international webinar on privatization and concessions in Ukraine

On January 18, 2021, the webinar on "Privatization and Concession in Ukraine" was conducted with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund Taras Yeleyko, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii and representatives of international consulting, financial and business environment.

During the presentation on investment opportunities in Ukraine, Taras Yeleyko noted that in 2020 the State Property Fund held about 1,900 privatization auctions and filled up the state budget with 3 billion hryvnias, exceeding the established plan by 6 times.

"As for the plans on 2021, they are ambitious - the privatization revenue plan is UAH 12 billion, and is absolutely realistic in case oflarge-scale privatization will unblocked," said the Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund.

The investment "menu" of the State Property Fund for 2021 includes 39 blocks of shares of state joint-stock companies, 230 property complexes, as well as separate property, objects of unfinished construction and sociocultural objects.

During the live broadcast, participants were provided with information on a number of assets that are being prepared for privatization in the near future, including JSC "United Mining and Chemical Company", JSC "First Kyiv Machine-Building Plant" ("Bilshovyk" Plant), regional electricity supply company, alcohol assets, bakery manufacturing plants, etc.

"Ukraine has a huge investment potential, and privatization is vital  for attracting investment, rooting out corruption and filling the budgetThere is political will and support for this from the Cabinet of Ministers and the President.," Taras Yeleyko summed up.
