The State Property Fund and the State Service of Ukraineon Food Safety and Consumer Protection signed the Memorandum of Cooperation

On April 26, Chairman of the State Property Fund Dmytro Sennychenko and Chairman of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection Vladyslava Mahaletska signed the Memorandum of Cooperation between the government agencies.

The purpose of the Memorandum is to consolidate efforts to improve the functioning of the public administration system in the field of privatization and lease of state property, management of state property.

«A deep inventory of all property and the transfer of non-core assets for privatization will help minimize corruption risks and make impossible illegal withdrawal or seizure of state property,» Dmytro Sennychenko said.

The document provides for the exchange of experience, mutual consultations, joint development of draft regulations, promotional information support from both sides, and other.

One of the priority tasks is the inventory of property on the balance sheet of the SSUFSCP, the identification of non-core assets and their transfer to transparent privatization.

«In partnership with the Fund, we must make the system of accounting for the property of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection effective,» noted Vladyslava Mahaletska. - Because now part of the property is not properly formalized, part is not used, but needs funds for maintenance. We are starting to put things in order here. It is also important that people benefit from this optimization, so that better conditions are created for the employees of the State Service.’

Interaction will be carried out on the basis of democratic principles of openness, equality and honesty.
