On September 14, Rustem Umerov, the Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, met with Oleksandr Novikov, the Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, during which the SPFU and the NACP’s executives outlined cooperation to implement the Anti-Corruption Strategy until 2025 and the State Anti-Corruption Program.

In particular, they discussed cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum on cooperation between the State Property Fund of Ukraine and the NACP. The essence of the Memorandum is the prompt exchange of information between the bodies. In addition, the NACP has access to the Unified Database of Valuation Reports, which will help to quickly detect false data on the value of real estate in declarations.

“We strive for maximum transparency of all processes of the Fund so that everyone has the opportunity to participate in lease and privatization processes, as simply and transparently as possible. Everything is based on the principle “if you want to manage an enterprise, buy and manage it,” Rustem Umerov, Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, noted.

Besides, during the meeting, they considered ways to strengthen cooperation between bodies to prevent and combat corruption, as well as ensure and increase the transparency of privatization processes.
