We are strengthening cooperation with the Lviv Regional Military Administration and local businesses – Denys Shuhaliy visited Lviv region

The First Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund, Denys Shuhaliy, met with the Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyy, as part of a business trip. The goal is to establish cooperation between the agencies to accelerate the privatization and leasing processes of state property.

The following steps were agreed upon:

  • searching for additional funding for the processing of technical passports for property complexes;
  • assisting in finding professional directors for state-owned enterprises that will prepare assets for privatization;
  • joint promotion of privatization and leasing objects to expand the range of potential investors; increased competition should raise the value of assets in online auctions.

"The team of the Fund is always ready to provide support to Ukrainian and foreign investors within its competencies in order to contribute to the strengthening of our country's economy. Business should have the opportunity to work and pay taxes, while the State Property Fund should assist the Defense Forces and economy. Only in this way will we accelerate victory," emphasized Denys Shuhaliy.

Also, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund visited one of the enterprises that works successfully on leased state property. LLC "Gregory" is engaged in sewing bed linens for volunteers, sleeping bags, robes, pajamas, and also developing a line of military clothing. The lessee of LLC "Gregory" and founders are also involved in other types of activities, including ecological and energy-efficient frame construction using reeds. Even during the war, an additional enterprise, LLC "RIID," was created, which plans to enter the international market as a company producing unique Ukrainian ecological products. The enterprise also aims to actively participate in the reconstruction of housing for Ukrainians.

As reported by the founder of "Gregory," Oksana Cherepanych, today the company is working and investing in modernization, which has significantly improved the condition of state-owned property. The company's main goal for the year 2023 is to increase wages. Currently, over 60 new jobs have already been created, with a priority on employing internally displaced persons.

For information. In May 2019, an agreement was signed between the Regional Office in Lviv, Zakarpattia, and Volyn regions and "Gregory" for the lease of premises with an area of 949.5 m². Over the lease period, almost UAH 1 million have been paid to the state budget. Subsequently, the company leased an additional area of 175.8 m². Today, the LLC plans to lease new properties with an area of 2,000 m².
