UAE sent a plane with humanitarian aid to Ukraine within the framework of a $100 million support program
The United Arab Emirates sent a plane with humanitarian aid to Ukraine as part of a total support program of $100 million. Warm clothes and hygiene products will be directed to the needs of residents of the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.
«We are grateful to the UAE for their help in this difficult time. This is an important support at a critical time for many people who need heat and other basic necessities», — said Rustem Umerov, the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
The team of the State Property Fund assists with the distribution of aid to recipients.
This is not the first plane of support from the United Arab Emirates as part of the total program of $100 million. Earlier, the UAE sent 2,500 generators to Ukraine and delivered them to the 10 most affected regions of Ukraine in the East and South. The generators were delivered to critical and social infrastructure facilities (schools, kindergartens, medical facilities, and heating stations).
