SE "UKRAINE HORSE BREEDING" is renewing itself and opening up new prospects

The State Enterprise "UKRAINEHORSE BREEDING", which is managed by the State Property Fund of Ukraine, is entering an active phase of renewal and development.

The SE is actively implementing modern areas of work, including expanding the sale of horses both in Ukraine and abroad. To improve communication with customers and partners in the field of promoting Ukrainian horse breeding, the company launched a website and maintains active social media accounts.

"It is essential that the SE team clearly understands that in order to develop, it is necessary to use new modern approaches to the technology of keeping and breeding horses, build an effective business model, and attract foreign partners to cooperate, which will provide the company with competitive advantages and maximize profits. That is why the company is actively renewing itself," said Vitaliy Koval, Chairman of the Fund.

SE "UKRAINEHORSE BREEDING" includes 10 stud farms, 3 breeding centers and 1 racetrack. The total number of horses is 1717. Due to the armed aggression of Russia, 4 stud farms with 561 horses are under occupation.

The company's facilities ensure the preservation and development of 5 breeds of horses: Ukrainian riding horse, thoroughbred riding horse, Novooleksandrivka heavy-duty horse, Oryol trotter and prize trotter.

"The breeds produced by the state enterprise are in demand both in Ukraine and abroad. We popularize and promote the Ukrainian horse breed to the sports market. The Novooleksandrivka heavy-duty breed is in demand in the private sector. We must not only preserve all the achievements in horse breeding (riding, trotting, heavy-duty), but also make them competitive in the world markets and auctions," said Lesya Tkachenko, leader of the Production Department of the State Enterprise "UKRAINEHORSE BREEDING".
