SPFU: State-Owned Companies Contribute to Shaping a New Model of Community Energy Resilience

During the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC), JSC Energy Company of Ukraine (ECU), which is managed by the State Property Fund of Ukraine, together with the Poltava City Council and international partners—the Municipality of Kalmar (Sweden) and Akershus County Council (Norway)—signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of energy resilience.

The Memorandum lays the foundation for a new model of energy development at the community level.

ECU is a state-owned operator that helps communities move from fragmented solutions to a comprehensive energy management system by attracting international financing and integrating both existing and new energy capacities.

This approach creates a new framework for cooperation between local communities, state-owned companies, and international partners, while establishing the foundation for scalable energy resilience projects across Ukraine.
