Competition Continues to Multiply Asset Value: UAH 44.6 Million Generated Through Privatization Auctions Last Week
Last week, the State Property Fund of Ukraine successfully conducted 12 privatization auctions through the Prozorro.Sale system, generating UAH 44.6 million in potential proceeds for the state budget.
A total of 86 bidders competed for the assets, and strong competition increased the average final sale price to five times the starting price.
The most valuable lot of the week was an unfinished construction project in Rivne. Fourteen bidders competed for the asset, driving its price from UAH 908,000 to UAH 26 million.
The most competitive auction was for a complex of buildings in Chortkiv, where 18 bidders raised the price from UAH 21,900 to UAH 6.7 million—an increase of nearly 306 times.
Another example of strong investor interest was the sale of four garages in the Chernivtsi region. With 15 bidders competing, the final price rose from UAH 12,000 to UAH 1.5 million.
This week, the State Property Fund plans to hold 51 more online privatization auctions.
Our investment portfolio includes opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses across Ukraine, including administrative and non-residential buildings, veterinary clinics, unfinished construction projects, and other assets ready to gain a new lease on life through private investment.
Privatization continues to demonstrate that open auctions, fair competition, and transparent rules deliver tangible results for the state and strengthen Ukraine’s economy.
