Sanctioned Apartment of Artemy Lebedev: Open Auction Determines Winning Bidder

Today, the State Property Fund of Ukraine successfully conducted an online privatization auction for a sanctioned apartment previously owned by Russian propagandist Artemy Lebedev.

The three-room, two-level apartment with a total area of 138.5 sq. m, located in the historic center of Kyiv overlooking the Golden Gate, has found a new owner following an open and competitive bidding process.

Two bidders competed for the asset, with the final sale price reaching UAH 13,500,001—nearly UAH 3 million above the starting price.

The auction was won by LLC "Center for Unmanned Systems Research."

The proceeds from the sale of sanctioned assets are transferred to the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression, contributing directly to Ukraine's recovery.

This apartment is no longer a symbol of impunity for a Russian propagandist. Instead, it has become another example of how the assets of individuals who supported the war against Ukraine are being transformed into resources for rebuilding the country.

Sanctions carry not only political significance but also tangible economic consequences. The assets of those who worked against Ukraine no longer serve their former owners—they now serve Ukraine.
