Two More State Assets Have Found Investors — UAH 98.1 Million Raised Through Auctions

Today, the State Property Fund of Ukraine held two successful privatization auctions. Both properties saw intense competition and a significant increase in value.

Lot 1 — a 3/10 share of a building complex in Cherkasy

The asset consists of production and administrative buildings with a total area of over 16,000 m².

Thirteen bidders competed for the property. As a result of the competitive bidding, the price rose from the starting bid of UAH 2.59 million to UAH 72.1 million—an increase of nearly 28 times.

Cherkasy, 85 Vyshnevetskyi-Baida St.

Lot 2 — Industrial and Commercial Real Estate Complex in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

The asset consists of 8 buildings and structures with a total area of 2,400 m², as well as garages, production and warehouse facilities, paved areas, and utility infrastructure.

Eleven bidders competed for the asset. The final price was 26 million UAH, compared to a starting price of UAH 4.86 million—an increase of more than fivefold.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, village of Uhryniv, 24-B Halytska St.

Total: UAH 93 million for the two state-owned assets based on the auction results.

These results prove once again that state-owned property has investment potential, and transparent, competitive auctions help attract businesses to its development.

For the state, this means budget revenue. For investors, it’s an opportunity to acquire assets and implement new business projects. For Ukraine’s economy, it means new investments, jobs, and development.
