In 2022, the State Property Fund earned UAH 3.6 billion in the budget

In 2022, the State Property Fund earned UAH 3.6 billion in the budget, UAH 2 billion of which came from small privatization and lease of state property. Additionally, the Fund saved UAH 1.5 billion by stopping fraud – underestimating the value of real estate during taxation.

In a short time, the SPFU together with the Government systematized the mechanism of state property management - the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine transfers more than 1100 assets to the Fund’s management (orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 683 and No. 910).

Now the SPFU will manage more than 2300 enterprises from all 3600 assets of Ukraine. The goal is to make the Fund the only body for managing state assets in the country to enhance the capitalization and develop enterprises, increase openness and transparency in asset management.

On the legislative track in 2022, the SPFU’s team has prepared 5 laws that, if adopted, can bring several tens of billions of hryvnias to the budget.

We are talking about unlocking large-scale privatization, the law on transparent lease of state agricultural land, as well as the law on the sale of property with a tax lien.

Also last year, the SPFU developed a Methodology for assessing the losses caused to business due to russian aggression. This will help Ukrainian businesses to apply to international courts to obtain reparations worth at least UAH 400 billion, the amount of damages caused by the russians.

In the humanitarian direction, agreements have been reached to provide UAH 20 billion in assistance from the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In December, the SPFU’s team has already met the first batch of aid – 1200 generators from the UAE. The next tranches of aid are expected in early January.

The generators will be transferred to healthcare, education and critical infrastructure facilities in the regions most affected by russian aggression – Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia and Kyiv oblasts.
