Sanctioned assets were transferred to the State Property Fund for the first time

For the first time, assets recovered from sanctioned Russian citizens were transferred to the State Property Fund. On December 9, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a corresponding order.

The assets were transferred based on the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court. In September 2022, it confiscated Ukrainian property from one of the richest people in Russia, Vladimir Yevtushenkov. Now it is transferred to the management of the SPFU, namely: 17 real estate objects in Zaporizhzhia region and shares of corporate rights of 5 enterprises located in Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia.

Thanks to this order, the State Property Fund was able to sell these assets through privatization and lease to further direct the proceeds to the State Budget to strengthen the defense capability of Ukraine and social support of citizens.

Earlier, the High Anti-Corruption Court established a connection between the activities of this Russian citizen as the ultimate beneficial owner of companies engaged in the manufacture of unmanned aerial vehicles for the Russian army and the fact of the use of such UAVs during the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine.
